ER-106.9.1(a)	Complaint against Harinarain Singh Institute of Teachers Education, Sararam, Bihar A complaint received from Sh. Vijay Prakash, Advocate regarding Harinarain Singh Institute of Teachers Education, Sasaram, Bihar has been forwarded by NCTE-HQrs vide letter No. F.36-5(1)/2010/NCTE/CDN/12161 dated 12^th March 2010 wherein the NCTE-HQrs had directed to verify the facts and sort out the grievance of the complainant, through inspection of the institution under Section 17 of the NCTE Act, after obtaining the approval of ERC for the purpose and furnish action taken in the matter. The original file of the institution has been sent to NCTE-HQrs with regard to inspections to be conducted by a three Member Committee as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court at Patna. The application of the institution was received on 30.03.2007 and recognition has been granted to the institution vide order No. Order No.ERC/7-88.5.3/2008/ 12799 Dt.30.08.2008 for B.Ed course.	The Committee noted the cases and observed that the process of monitoring under the order of Honorable High Court is going on.
ER-106.9.1(b)	Complaint against Magadh Teachers Training College, Danibihha, Aurangabad, Bihar An E-mail has been received in the office of ERC regarding fraudulent activities of Magadh Teachers Training College, Danibihha, Aurangabad, Bihar. The original file of the institution has been sent to NCTE-HQrs with regard to inspections to be conducted by a three Member Committee as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court at Patna. The application of the institution was received on 09.01.2008 and recognition has been granted to the institution vide order No. Order No.2101 Dt.20.11.2009 (As per the decision of the Appellate Authority) for B.Ed course.
ER-106.9.1(c)	Complaint against Directorate of Distance Education, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. A complaint has been addressed to Chairperson, NCTE-HQrs by Dr. A. K. Mishra, Darbhanga, Bihar against Directorate of Distance Education, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar and the same has been forwarded by Chairperson, NCTE-HQrs for necessary action at ERC. The original file of the institution has been sent to NCTE-HQrs with regard to inspections to be conducted by a three Member Committee as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court at Patna. The application of the institution was received on 22.03.2004 and recognition has been granted to the institution vide order No. Order No. ERC/7-77.6(II).51/2007/67981 Dt.04.07.2007 for B.Ed (Distance Education) course.
ER-106.9.2	F.ERC/06-2/BR/04-2010 Complaint against Kameshwar Singh Dharbhanga Sanskrit University, Darbhanga, Bihar. A complaint received from Dr. A. K. Mishra, Professor Colony, Mishratola, Darbhanga, Bihar against Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Darbhanga, Bihar has been forwarded by NCTE-HQrs vide letter No. F.36-5(1)/2010/NCTE/CDN/A13049 dated 6^th April 2010 for necessary action. The original file of the institution has been sent to NCTE-HQrs with regard to inspections to be conducted by a three Member Committee as per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court at Patna. The application of the university was received on 08.07.2003 30.03.2007 and recognition has been granted to the institution vide order No. Order No.ERC/7-57.8.4/2005/1927 dtd 02.06.2005 for Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed) course.	The Committee noted the cases and observed that the process of monitoring under the order of Honorable High Court is going on.
ER-106.9.3	F.ERC/06-2/JH/2004 Letter dated 25^th March 2010 addressed to Regional Director, ERC-NCTE from Secretary, HRD Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi. In reference to the letters sent to the State Government of Jharkhand for comments on the applications submitted by individual institutions, the Secretary, HRD Department, Government of Jharkhand, Jharkhand, Ranchi vide its letter No. 1044 dated 25^th March 2010 had requested that NCTE should not grant recognition to the institutions till the State Government gives its comments on the application submitted by the respective institutions. Further, the State Government has also requested that such institutions whose applications have been recommended by the State Government should not be granted recognition. The letter dated 25^th March 2010 is placed on the table for appropriate and further necessary decision by the Committee.	Noted. Rules-procedure of the NCTE would have to be followed while keeping in view the State Govt. opinion.
