ER – 95.1 Confirmation of the Proceedings of 94th ERC Meeting held at Bhubaneswar on 19-21 April, 2009. The Committee confirmed the proceedings of 94th ERC Meeting held at Bhubaneswar on 19-21 March, 2009.

ER-95.4.1 Godagari Vidyasagar Educational Institute and Social Welfare Primary Teacher Training Institute, Vill – Narasinghapur, PO – Sagarpara, PS – Jalangi, Dist – Murshidabad, West Bengal, (PTT) (West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00675 The Committee considered the reply received in ERC office dated 08.04.2009 in response to ERC letter dated 09.03.2009 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Recognition order under Clause 7(11) of Regulations, 2007 for annual intake of 50 for PTT (D.Ed.) course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website.
ER-95.4.2 Nadia Primary Teachers’ Training Institute, Austin House, 170 Don Bosco Road, PO – Krishnagar, PS –Ketwali,Dist- Nadia, West Bengal- 741101, (West Bengal Board of Primary Education)Code No.APE00770 The Committee considered the reply received in ERC office dated 22.01.2009 in response to ERC acceptance letter dt. 12.12.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that the Visiting Team may be sent immediately.
NOTE As per NCTE Hqrs. letter dt. 13.03.2009 regarding enforcement of provisions under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 regarding possession of land by the institutions, the land should be in the name of institution concerned either on ownership basis or on lease basis from the Govt. / Govt. Institution for a period not less than 30 years and it is free from all encumbrances. Therefore, the institution is required to comply the above Norms strictly under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 and submit the required documents within 3 (three) months from the issue of the letter.
ER-95.4.3 Rabindra Nath Thakur Primary Teachers Training Institue, Vill/Po.- Kulbari, Ps.- Math Chandipur, Dist.- Purba Medinipur, West Bengal- 721 625(ETE (D.Ed.)( Private)( West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00696 The Committee considered the reply of the institution received in ERC office dated 20.04.2009 in response to ERC Letter of Intent dated 14.01.2009 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Recognition order under Clause 7(11) of Regulations, 2007 for annual intake of 50 for ETE (D.Ed.) course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website. However, some Committee Members have noted the following.“According to our interpretation of the appeal order passed by NCTE Hqrs., every document i.e. land, building etc. including the teacher’s qualification has to be seen. But in this case those documents have not been made available and seen, hence do not agree with the above decision”.

ER-95.4.4 Iswer Primary Teachers’ Training Institute, PO – Cossimbazar Raj, PS – Berhampore,Dist – Murshidabad, West Bengal – 742 102(D.Ed.)( Private)( West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00625 The Committee considered the letter received from the institution and decided that a letter be sent to be institution asking them to comply with the formalities as per NCTE norms.
NOTE As per NCTE Hqrs. letter dt. 13.03.2009 regarding enforcement of provisions under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 regarding possession of land by the institutions, the land should be in the name of institution concerned either on ownership basis or on lease basis from the Govt. / Govt. Institution for a period not less than 30 years and it is free from all encumbrances. Therefore, the institution is required to comply the above Norms strictly under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 and submit the required documents within 3 (three) months from the issue of the letter.
ER-95.4.5 Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Primary Teacher’s Training Institute, Vill – Ransagar, PO & Dist – Murshidabad, West Bengal – 742 149(PTT)(Private)(West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No. APE00667 The Committee considered the reply of the institution received in ERC office dated dt. 22.01.2009 in response to ERC deficiency letter dt. 01.12.2008 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that the Visiting Team may be sent and letter of consent be issued to the institution for its readiness for inspection of the infrastructure & instructional facilities provided for running the proposed teacher education programme as per the NCTE norms.
NOTE As per NCTE Hqrs. letter dt. 13.03.2009 regarding enforcement of provisions under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 regarding possession of land by the institutions, the land should be in the name of institution concerned either on ownership basis or on lease basis from the Govt. / Govt. ER-95.4.6 Ratulia Secondary Teachers Training Institute, Panskura Vidyasagar Social Welfare Society Building, Vill.- Kanakpur, Po.- Naranda, Dist.- Purba Medinipur, West Bengal- 721 139(B.Ed.)(Private) (Vidyasagar University) Code No.APE00573 The ERC noted that the office has issued an Acceptance Letter to the institution seeking consent or its readiness for inspection of the infrastructure & instructional facilities provided for running the proposed teacher education programme as per the NCTE norms and decided that VT may be sent after compliance of the same.

ER-95.4.7 Bhagabati Devi Primary Teacher’s Training Institute, At- Baramohanpur, Po.- Khakurda, Dist.- Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal- 721 445(ETE (D.Ed.)( Private)( West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00668 The Committee considered the reply of the institution received in ERC office dated 21.04.2009 in response to ERC Letter of Intent dated 18.04.2009 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Recognition order under Clause 7(11) of Regulations, 2007 for annual intake of 50 for ETE (D.Ed.) course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the Website.

Pally, Ps.- Dist.- Kolkata, West Bengal- 700150 (Code No.APE00655) The ERC noted that the office has issued an Acceptance Letter to the institution seeking consent or its readiness for inspection of the infrastructure & instructional facilities provided for running the proposed teacher education programme as per the NCTE norms and decided that VT may be sent after compliance of the same.

(CodeNo.APE00727) The ERC noted the order of Appellate Authority dt.20.3.2009 whereby the appeal was accepted and ERC order dt.18.8.2008 was set aide with direction to the ERC to grant recognition to the institution immediately. Therefore, directed to issue necessary order accordingly.
NOTE As per NCTE Hqrs. letter dt. 13.03.2009 regarding enforcement of provisions under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 regarding possession of land by the institutions, the land should be in the name of institution concerned either on ownership basis or on lease basis from the Govt. / Govt. ER-95.4.10 Panagarh Primary Teachers Training Institute, Vill – Panagarh, Po – Panagarh Bazar, Dist – Burdwan, West Bengal – 713148, PTT (D.Ed.) (Code No.APE00617) The ERC noted the order of Appellate Authority dt.20.3.2009 whereby the appeal was accepted and ERC order dt.18.8.2008 was set aide with direction to the ERC to grant recognition to the institution immediately. Therefore, directed to issue necessary order accordingly.

ER-95.4.11 Vidyasagar Primary Teachers’ Training Institute, Vill –Dhamait, Po-Amdan, PS-Panskura, Dist-Purba Medinipur, West Bengal – 721 131, (Code No.APE00647 The ERC noted the order of Appellate Authority dt.20.3.2009 whereby the appeal was accepted and ERC order dt.18.8.2008 was set aide with direction to the ERC to issue letter of intent and thereafter issue further order to the institution immediately. It has also noted that in compliance to above ERC issued letter of intent accordingly.

ER-95.4.12 Uttar Dinajpur Primary Teachers Training Institute, Vill.- Naoda, Po.- Baharail, Dist.- Uttar Dinajpur,West Bengal-733 134(PTT (D.Ed.))( Private)( West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00717 The ERC noted that the office has issued an Acceptance Letter to the institution as per the direction of the Appellate Authority seeking consent or its readiness for inspection of the infrastructure & instructional facilities provided for running the proposed teacher education programme as per the NCTE norms and decided that VT may be sent after compliance of the same.
NOTE As per NCTE Hqrs. letter dt. 13.03.2009 regarding enforcement of provisions under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 regarding possession of land by the institutions, the land should be in the name of institution concerned either on ownership basis or on lease basis from the Govt. / Govt.
