ER-96.4.1 Kalna Primary Teachers’ Training Institute, At – Panduah Road, PO – Kalna, Dist – Burdwan, West Bengal – 713 409, (D.Ed.) (Private) (West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00691 The Committee considered the reply of the institution received in ERC office dt. 24.04.2009 in response to ERC Letter of Intent dt. 27.03.2009 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Notice u/s 14(3) (b) may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:
  1. As per the documents submitted by the institution regarding appointment of the teachers, one lecturer is not qualified as per the NCTE norms. The institution is required to appoint the same as per the NCTE norms and submit the required affidavits thereof.
  2. List of teaching staff in prescribed format duly countersigned by the affiliating body not submitted.
NOTE As per NCTE Hqrs. letter dt. 13.03.2009 regarding enforcement of provisions under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 regarding possession of land by the institutions, the land should be in the name of institution concerned either on ownership basis or on lease basis from the Govt. / Govt. Institution for a period not less than 30 years and it is free from all encumbrances. Therefore, the institution is required to comply the above Norms strictly under Regulation 8(7) of NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 and submit the required documents within3 (three) months from the issue of the letter.
ER-96.4.2 Vidyasagar Primary Teachers’ Training Institute, Vill –Dhamait, Po-Amdan, PS-Panskura, Dist-Purba Medinipur, West Bengal – 721 131 (PTT) (Private) (West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE00647 The Committee considered the reply of the institution received in ERC office dt. 13.05.2009 in response to ERC Letter of Intent dt. 18.04.2009 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Notice u/s 14(3) (b) may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:
  1. Original Affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper from the Management of the institution not submitted.
  2. Downloaded copy of the details of the website of the institution not submitted.

Course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website.

ER – 96.5.1 Chapra Primary Teacher’s Training Institute, Vill- Gokhurapota, PO- Charatala, Tehsil – Krishnagar, Dist- Nadia, West Bengal – 741123 (D.Ed.) (West Bengal Board of Primary Education) Code No.APE01129 The Committee considered the case of the institution along with the Visiting Team Report, relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Recognition Order under Clause 7(11) of Regulations, 2007 for annual intake of 50 for D.Ed. Course from the session 2009-2010 after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website and also subject to submission of an Affidavit on Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper by the Applicant alongwith individual affidavits on Rs.10/- Non-Judicial stamp paper as per the prescribed format to be submitted by the academic staff duly selected and appointed.

(University of Burdwan) Code No.APE00887 The Committee considered the case of the institution along with the Visiting Team Report, relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that letter of intent prior to permission under Clause 7(9) of Regulations, 2007 may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:
  1. The institution shall make appointment of faculty/staff by a duly constituted selection committee and ensure selection of candidates possessing qualifications as prescribed under rules
  2. An Affidavit on Rs. 100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper by the Applicant is required to be submitted alongwith individual affidavits on Rs.10/- Non-Judicial stamp paper as per the prescribed format to be submitted by the academic staff duly selected and appointed.
  3. The institution may submit countersigned statement of staff appointed as per the NCTE norms as per approval of the concerned affiliating body. The same be submitted in the prescribed format duly countersigned by the concerned affiliating body. In such case the institution shall submit the same alongwith an affidavit on Rs.100/- Non-judicial stamp paper duly signed by the authorized representative of the management of the institution as per the prescribed format. Individual affidavit is not required to be submitted in such cases.
  4. The institution shall launch its website covering, inter alia, the details of the institution, its location, name of the course applied for with intake, availability of physical infrastructure (land, building, office, classrooms, and other facilities/amenities), instructional facilities (laboratory, library etc.) and the particulars of their proposed teaching and non-teaching staff etc. with photographs. The downloaded copies of the website is required to be submitted
  5. Facilities for language learning lab are not available as per the NCTE norms.

(Additional Course) (University of Calcutta) Code No.APE01032 The Committee considered the reply of the institution received in ERC office dt. 15.04.2009 in response to ERC Letter of Intent dt. 27.03.2009 along with relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that Notice u/s 15(3) (b) may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:
  1. The institution is required to submit earmarked building plan showing availability of land & built up area for the proposed course and also for the existing course approved by the NCTE i.e. for B.Ed. and PTT.
  2. Facilities for Language Learning lab is not available as per the NCTE norms
  3. Facilities of Science lab, Psychology lab are not sufficient as per the NCTE norms
  4. Seating Capacity of library is not as per the NCTE norms
  5. The institution is required to submit details of teaching staff as per the NCTE norms and submit the details as per the prescribed Affidavits.

Course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website.

Course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website.

Course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website and also subject to appointment of teachers by the State Govt.

Private) (Guwahati University) Code No. APE0572 The Committee considered the case of the institution along with the Visiting Team Report, relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that that a clarification under Notice u/s 14(3) (b) may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:
  1. The institution is required to submit a clarification about building built up area and furnish an affidavit in the prescribed form on Rs.100/- stamp paper duly attested by Oath Commissioner/Notary Public stating the precise location of the land etc. as per clause 8(8) of the NCTE Regulations 2007.
  2. The institution is required to submit the building completion certificate mentioning therein Khasra No., Plot no., details of total land area, built up area which should be as per the approved building plan & land documents of the institution and the same should be suitable to run teacher training course as per the NCTE norms duly approved by Govt. Engineer and countersigned by the authority concerned.
  3. Facilities for language learning are not available.
  4. Science lab not available.

Private) (Assam University) Code No. APE00850 The Committee considered the case of the institution along with the Visiting Team Report, relevant documents, NCTE Act, Regulations and guidelines of NCTE published from time to time and decided that letter of intent prior to permission under Clause 7(9) of Regulations, 2007 may be issued giving 30 days time with a direction to the institution to comply the following deficiencies:

  6. The institution is required to purchase library books as per the NCTE norms.
  7. The institution is required to submit a building construction certificate showing that construction work is complete in every respect and laboratory portion of the building plastered and colored.

Course from the session 2009-2010 may be issued after verification of website and receipt of the downloaded copies of the website and subject to submission of the following:-
  1. The List of Teaching Staff submitted by the institution list was not countersigned by the University Registrar.
